European Yarn

I have been procrastinating in posting an update for sometime now. I finished my monkey socks a long time ago an they are fabulous! When you look closely, though, you can tell which sock i knitted first. Oh well, no one else will know unless they knit.

And have since finished my vest except for the neck ribbing. I have also made a camera cozy for the camera I got for graduation! out of molly's leftover sock yarn and my mom's wooden beads.

I got some amazing brushed suri yarn in canada as well as some wool sock yarn which i might have mentioned before, not sure though. The sock yarn I am going to use to knit the hedera socks by Cookie on knitty. This will be a small project to work on while I am in England and Spain in June. On that subject, I was looking at some other blogs. One by a girl who went to Spain and knit shops there and another girl named Betty and Urraca who she wrote about on her blog. From these three sites and another random one, I found the name of some knit stores in Madrid! De Puntillos and Lanas Sixto, also Katia (i think.) I am super excited now! European yarn! yay! Anyway, with my brushed suri yarn that I mentioned earlier, I want to knit a really thin lacey v-neck sweater vest with cables and what not so if anyone has a pattern or knows where I can find a pattern for that it would be super!
